The equation 2x²-12x+7 = 0 is written in the form 2(x-p)²+q = 0. what is the value of q ?

2x^2-12x+7=0, 2(x-p)^2+q=0

4x-12x+7=0 ( 2x-2p)^2+q=0

4x-12x+7=0 4x-4p+q=0

4x-12x-4x+4p-q=-7+0

8x-q=7+0

xq=7/8
