\dfrac{3}{7} + x = \dfrac{17}{7}

__________ [GIVEN EQUATION]

• We have to find the value of x.

______________________________

\dfrac{3}{7} + x = \dfrac{17}{7}

\implies \dfrac{3\:+\:7x}{7} = \dfrac{17}{7}

\implies 3 + 7x = \dfrac{17}{ \cancel{7}} \:  \times  \: { \cancel{7}}

\implies 3 + 7x = 17

\implies 7x = 17 - 3

\implies 7x = 14

\implies x = 2

\dfrac{3}{7} + x = \dfrac{17}{7}

From above calculations we get x = 2

Put value of x in above equation

\dfrac{3}{7} + 2 = \dfrac{17}{7}

\dfrac{3\:+\:14}{7} = \dfrac{17}{7}

\dfrac{17}{7} = \dfrac{17}{7}
