10x-15-9x+21=5

10x-9x=5+15-21

1x=-1 , x=-1/1=-1

So, x is -1

Hope its help you

Hey user !!

Here's the answer you are looking for

5(2x-3)-3(3x-7)=5

➡️ 10x - 15 -9x + 21 = 5

➡️10x - 9x + 21 - 15 = 5

➡️ x + 6 = 5

➡️ x = 5 - 6

➡️ x = -1

Verification:

Substituting, x = -1 in the LHS of the equation,

5(2x-3)-3(3x-7)

➡️ 5[2(-1) - 3] - 3[3(-1) - 7]

➡️ 5(-2 - 3) - 3(-3 - 7)

➡️ 5(-5) - 3(-10)

➡️ -25 - (-30)

➡️ -25 + 30

➡️ 5 = RHS

Therefore, the value of x is (-1).
