Hey There!!!

Let us assume that

Present age of son = x

Present age of father = y

We are given that Father's age is six times that of son's age.
So,

y = 6x   -----(1)

Four Years Later,
Age of Son = x+4
Age of Father = y+4

It is given that this age of father is four times that of son.

So we have:

(y+4)=4 (x+4)
=> y+4=4x+16
=> y = 4x + 12

Let us substitute y=6x from(1)

=> 6x = 4x + 12
=> 2x = 12
=> x = 6

Since y = 6x, we have y = 36

Thus, we have:

Present Age of Son = x = 6 years

Present Age of Father = y = 36 years

So, Your answer is Option C.

Hope it helps
