DE=CD-CE =(h-2)m
CE=AB
In right triangle AED,
sin70°=DE/AD
0.94=(h-2)/20
h-2= 20×0.94
h= 18.8+2
h= 20.8m
hence,the maximum height from the ground the lader can reach is 20.8m.
