According to given sum,
let the the cost price be x.
Tax on television =1/10 × cost price
=>1/10×x
=>x/10
selling price =cost price+tax
=>6,655=x+x/10
=>6,655=11x/10
=>x=6,655×10/11
=>x=6,050
