hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

given the height ( AE ) of the right angle triangle is 9cm.

base ( DE ) of the right angle triangle is 12cm.

area of the right angle triangle = 1/2 × b × h

= 1/2 × 12 × 9

= 6 × 9

= 54cm²

now,

hypontuse of the triangle = breadth of the rectangle ABCD.

we will find the hypontuse of the triangle by Pythagoras thereom.

let the hypontuse be c, base be a and height be ( other side ) be b.

==> a² + b² = c²

==> 12² + 9² = c²

==> 144 + 81 = c²

==> 225 = c²

==> c = √225

==> c = 15cm

hence, the hypontuse of the triangle is 15cm and breadth of the rectangle is 15cm.

AB = 20cm

AD = 15cm

area of the rectangle ABCD = l × b

= 20 × 15

= 300cm²

diameter of the semicircle = breadth of the rectangle

therefore diameter of the semi circle is 15cm and radius is = 15/2 = 7.5cm

area of the semi circle = 1/2πr²

= 1/2 × 22/7 × 7.5

= 11/7 × 7.5

= 82.5/7cm²

total area of the figure = 300 + 82.5/7

= 2100/7 + 82.5/7

= 2182.5/7cm²

area of the shaded region = 2182.5/7 - 54

= 2182.5/7 - 378/7

= 1804.5/7cm²

= 257.78cm² ( approximately )

is it right answer ??

if not u can report :)
