and breadth be 2x.

Area of the rectangle EFGH = 5x × 2x

Now, the width of the park surrounded by the rectangular field i.e. ABCD.=>2.5m

Then, the length of park = 2.5+2.5+5x

= 5+5x

and; the breadth of park = 2(2.5)+2x

= 5+2x

Area of park ABCD = (5+5x)(5+2x)

= 10x²+35x+25

Area(ABCD) - Area(EFGH) = 445m²

10x²+35x+25-10x² = 445

35x+25 = 445

35x = 445-25

35x = 420

x = 420/35

x = 12m

Dimensions of the park is:-

Length =5+5x => 5+5(12) => 65m

Breadth =5+2x => 5+2(12) => 29m
