In given fig. angle A and B are corresponding angles. Thus their measure will be equal.

5x-5 = 3x+13

5x-3x = 13+5

2x = 18

x = 18/2

x = 9

angle A = 5x-5 = 5×9-5 = 45-5 = 40°

angle B = 3x+13 = 3×9+13 = 27+13 = 40°
