SOLUTION :-

\implies let assume that, the side of first cube be a and side of second cube be A.

\rightarrow the volume of first cube(a) = a³

\rightarrowAnd Volume of second cube(A) = A³

\rightarrow .°. (a/A)³=a³/A³ = 1/64 = (1)³/(4)³ = (1/4)³

\rightarrow .°. (a/A)³ = (1/4)³

\implies .°. a/ A= 1/4 -----(1)

\rightarrow .°. the area of first cube(a)= 6a²

\rightarrowOr area of second cube(A)= 6A²

\rightarrow 6a²/6A²

\rightarrow a²/A²

\rightarrow (1)²/(4)² -----[from equ. (1)]

\implies 1/16

\implies {\boxed{\boxed{\red{.°.  1:16}}}}

Hence, the ratio of the area is 1:16.
