➡Let the perimeter of original triangle be x cm

➡If each side of a triangle is increased by 4cm then ,

The perimeter will be =x+4×3

=(x+12)cm

Ratio of perimeter of new triangle and given triangle =7:5

=x+12/x = 7/5

➡On cross multiplication,

5(x+12)=7x

5x+60=7x

7x−5x=60

2x=60

x= 60/2

x=30

The perimeter of the given triangle is 30cm.

Hope this helps!!
