 \frac{x}{2}  + y = 0.8 \\  \frac{7}{x +  \frac{y}{2} }  = 10 \\  =  > y = 0.8 -  \frac{x}{2} .............(1) \\ and \:  \:  \:  \: 7 = 10x + 5y...............(2)

Put the value of y in equation (2)

 => 7 = 10x + 5(0.8 -  \frac{x}{2}  \\  => 7 = 10x + 4 -  \frac{5x}{2}  \\  => 7 - 4 =  \frac{20x - 5x}{2}  \\  => 3 =  \frac{15x}{2}  \\  => x = 3 \times  \frac{2}{15}  \\  =>x \:= \: \frac{2}{5}

Put the value of x in equation (1)

y = 0.8 -  \frac{x}{2}  \\  => y = 0.8 -  \frac{2}{5 \times 2}  \\  => y = 0.8 - 0.2 \\  => y\: = \:0.6 \: \:  or \:  \:  \frac{3}{5}
