Answer:

In triangle ABC

angle ABC+ angle BCA+ angeCAB= 180°. [angle sum property]

In triangle ACD

angleACD+ angleCDA+ angle DAC=180°. [ angle sum property]

In triangle ADE

angle ADE + angleDEA + angleEAD= 180° [angle sum property]

By adding the three equations

angle A BC+ angleBCA + angleCAB+ angleACD + angle CAD + angleDAC + angleADE+ angleDEA+ angleEAD=180°+180°+180°

therefore

angle A BC+ angleBCD + angleCDE+ angle DEA+ angleEAB=540°

Explanation for angle sum property:

Angle sum property of triangle states that the sum of interior angles of a triangle is 180°.

OR

the formulae for finding the sum of all angles of a figure is 180(n-2) where n is the number of sides

therefore sum of all sides=180(5-2)=180*3=540°

Hope it helps
