i) ABCD is a parallelogram. Angle A=60°

AP and PB are bisectors of A and B

PAB = PAD=30°

AB//CD, P is transversal

There fore, PAB = APD=30° (Alternative angles)

In triangle APD,

PAD=APD=30°

PD=AD ( Equal sides have equal angles in a triangle)

ii) AD//BC, AB is transversal

A + B=180°

60°+B=180°

B=120°

PBA=PBC=60°(PB is bisector of B)

PAB = BPC=60°(Alternative angles)

In triangle PBC,

BPC = PBC =60°

BC=PC

iii) CD= DP+PC,

There fore, CD=AD+BC

CD= AD+AD (Opposite sides of //gm are equal)

=CD=2AD
