When force is acting on any body it change its shape. Example when we press the chusion its changes its shapes.

It changes the direction of the moving body. example when we hit a ball coming towards us by a bat then it changes its direction.

The force can stop a moving object.

example when a ball is rolled it stop after a few seconds or minutes due to the action of frictional force.

inertia is a law according to which when a body is stays at rest it tends to be in rest and when the body is in motion it tends to be in motion .

for example when we beat a carpet with a bat than the dust falls because the dust were at rest on the carpet and they try to be at rest on beating and the due to the vibration they fall of.

There are three laws of motion of Newton.

the law of conservation of momentum is that the force before collision is equal to the force after collision.

I hope my answer will help you.

1.FORCE CAN CHANGE THE SHAPE OF A SUBSTANCE. EG. KNEADING DOUGH OR CLAY.

FORCE CAN CHANGE THE DIRECTION OF AN OBJECT.

EG. IN CRICKET, THE BATSMAN CHANGES THE DIRECTION OF THE BALL.

FORCE CAN STOP A MOVING OBJECT. EG. A FOOTBALL MOVING ON THE GROUND EVENTUALLY STOPS DUE TO FRICTION.

2.INERTIA - Inertia is the resistance of any physical object to any change in its position and state of motion. .. Examples of Inertia. One's body movement to the side when a car makes a sharp turn. Tightening of seat belts in a car when it stops quickly. Here interia of an object played a major role in defining momentum.

Activity:consider a pencil box and a brick. Both are moving with same velocity, but when we tend to stop the object more force is required to bring the brick to rest. But pencil box can easily stop. Hence not all objects have same tendency to be in same state of rest or motion.

3.Newton's three laws of motion may be stated as follows:

Every object in a state of uniform motion will remain in that state of motion unless an external force acts on it. Force equals mass times acceleration . For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

4.The law of conservation of momentum states that for two objects colliding in an isolated system, the total momentum before and after the collision is equal. This is because the momentum lost by one object is equal to the momentum gained by the other.
