Let the number be 10x + y.

If the digital are interchanged , then the no. will be 10y + x.

=> 10y + x + 10x + y = 110

=> 11x + 11y = 110

We know that x = y ( mentioned in question)

=> 11x + 11y = 110

=> 11x + 11x = 110 (The value of x and y is same)

=> 22x = 110

=> x = 110 / 22

=> x = 5

X = y
therefore y = 5

The number = 10x + y

= 10 * 5 + 5

= 55

Ans. = The number is 55.
