area of 1st road which is parallel to length 700m = 700 x 10= 7000 m^2 = 0.7 hactare

we know ,
1 hactare = 10000 m^2

area of 2nd road which is Parallel to width 300 m = 300 x 10 = 3000 m^2= 0.3 hectare

now,
area of park excluding roads =area of park -( sum of area of road )- area of square which form in centre of cross road

= 700 x 300 - (7000 +3000)-(10)^2
=210000 -10000 -100
= 200000 -100
=199900 m^2
=19.9 hactares
