as we know that acceleration due to gravity above the surface of the earth is given by

g'=g(1-2h/R)

given g'=10% of g=10/100×g=0.1g

R=6400KM

then 0.1g=g(1-2h/6400)

0.1=(6400-2h)÷6400

6400×0.1=6400-2h

640=6400-2h

2h=6400-640

h=5760/2

h=2880KM
