Heya

9. Let the angles be 2a, 3a and 4a.

So, 2a + 3a + 4a = 180° (linear pair)

9a = 180°

a = 180/9 = 20°

Answer -

a. x = 2a = 40°

b. y = 3a = 60°

c. z = 4a = 80°

10.

120 - 3x + y + 3x + 25 = 180° (linear pair)

y + 145 = 180°

So y = 180-145 = 35°

Answer = 35°

Answer:

let common angle be q.

2q+3q+4q=180(corresponding angle)

9q=180

q=20

x=40

y=60

z=80

anglesROS+angleROQ+angleQOP=180(corresponding angles)

120-3x+y+3x+25=180

120+25-3x+3x+y=180

y=180-145

y=35
