Answer:

24.Given that,u=5m/s

a=0.2m/s², t=10

From the first law of motion,

V=u+at

V=5+0.2×10=7m/s

Now from the second law of motion,

S=ut+1/2at²

S=50+10=60m

25.Given that u=18km/hr=18×5/18m/s

u=5m/s, v=0

t=2.5seconds

From the first law of motion,

V=u+at

5+2.5a=0

2.5a=-5

a=-2

Negative symbol concludes that it is a retardation.......

26.Given that,

u=0, a=0.2m/s², t=5 second

From the first law of the motion,

V=u+at

V=5×0.2=1m/s

From the second law of the motion,

S=ut+1/2at²

S=0.1×25=25/10=2.5m

Distance travelled=2.5m
