☯︎ Aɴsᴡᴇʀ

we have,

  • ABCD is a rhombus
  • ∠BAC = 48°

_____________________

firstly we have to know some properties of a rhombus

  • both pair of opposite sides of a rhombus are parallel.
  • all sides of a rhombus are equal to each other.
  • opposite angles are equal
  • diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other at 90°

_____________________

AB || DC ( opposite sides of rhombus)

here, AB is transversal line.

➪ ∠BAC = ∠DCA (alternate angles)

  • ∠BAC = 48°
  • ∠DCA = y°

➪ y° = 48°

_________________________

in ∆DAC

AD = DC (all sides of a rhombus are equal or adjacent side)

➪ ∠DAC = ∠DCA (angle opposite to equal sides are equal)

➪ ∠DCA = y° = 48°

now, in ∆DAC

∠DAC + ∠DCA + ∠ADC = 180°

( angle sum property : sum of all interior angles of a triangle is 180°)

➪ 48° + 48° + x° = 180°

➪ 96° + x° = 180°

➪ x° = 180° - 96°

➪ x° = 84°

____________________

therefore, value of

  • x° is 84°
  • y° is 48°
