find the zeros of the polynomial x²+3x-10

x2 -3x-10 = 0.

x2 -5x + 2x-10 = 0.

x(x-5) + 2(x-5)=0.

(x-5) (x+2)=0 X = 5, -2.

Sum of the roots = -b/a = 3/1.

which is same as 5 - 2 = 3.

product of the roots = c/a = -10.

which is same as 5x(-2) = -10.
