5 {x}^{2} - 3x - 4 = 0 \\ = > 5 {x}^{2} + x - 4x - 4 = 0 \\ = > 5x(x + 1) - 4(x + 1) = 0 \\ = > (5x - 4)(x + 1) = 0 \\ = > x = \frac{4}{5} \: \: or \: \: x = - 1

HOPE THIS COULD HELP!!!

ANSWER:-

x(5x+12)= 0

SOLUTION:-

 {5x}^{2} \: - \: 3x \: \times \: ( - 4) = 0 \\ {5x}^{2} - ( - 12) = 0 \\ {5x}^{2} - + 12 = 0 \\ x(5x + 12) = 0

We cannot solve this further because two unlike terms cannot be added.

EXPLAINATION WITH STEPS

Step1: Writing the given expressions

5x^2 - 3x × (-4)

Step2 : Multiplying the terms '-3x & (-4)

5x^2- (- 12x)

Step3: Removing the bracket

5x^2 +12x

Step4 : Taking x as the common term

x(5x + 12)

And hence we get answer

x(5x + 12) = 0

Hope it helped you ☺☺☺☺
