please solve this

a solid melts at 20-degree Celsius. What will be its temperature on the celsius scale?

of course it will be 20°C

but

Degrees Kelvin are the same size as degrees Celcius. The difference is that the base is different. Thus, it’s easy to convert them:

0 K = -273.15 C → 0 C = +273.15 K

Add enough degrees C to both sides of the above to get +20 on the right side:

20 + 0 C = 20 +273.15 K
