Given 2(2x + 3/x - 3) - 25(x - 3/2x + 3) = 5

 \frac{(4x + 6)}{x - 3}  -  \frac{(25x - 75)}{2x + 3}  = 5

On cross-multiplication, we get

 \frac{(4x + 6)(2x + 3) - (25x - 75)(x - 3)}{(x - 3)(2x + 3)} = 5

 \frac{(4x + 6)(2x + 3) - (25x - 75)(x - 3)}{(2x^2 - 3x - 9)} = 5

 \frac{8x^2 + 24x + 18 - 25x^2  + 150x - 225}{2x^2 - 3x - 9} = 5 <br /><br />\frac{-17x^2 + 174x  -207  }{2x^2 - 3x - 9} = 5

-17x^2 + 174x - 207 = 5(2x^2 - 3x - 9)

-17x^2 + 174x - 207 = 10x^2 - 15x - 45

-17x^2 + 189x  - 162= 10x^2

-27x^2 + 189x - 162 = 0

-27(x^2 - 7x + 6) = 0

x^2 - 7x + 6 = 0

x^2 - 6x - x + 6 = 0

x(x - 6) - 1(x - 6) = 0

(x - 1)(x - 6) = 0

x = 1, 6.

Hope this helps!
