See Since Δ LMN is a right angled triangle.

Hence

MN = Hypotenuse ( H )

LM = Perpendicular ( P )

LN = Base ( B )

CosΦ = B/H

Cos30° = LN / 15

LN = 15 cos30°

LN = 15 × √3/2

LN = 15√3 / 2 cm

LN = 13 cm approx
