3x-7+(55)+X+20

4x+48+20=180

4x=180-68

4x=12

X=3

Solution:

From the figure, we know that ∠AOB is a straight line.

So we get,

\implies ∠AOB = 180°

It can also be written as:

\implies ∠AOC + ∠COD + ∠BOD = 180°

By substituting the values, we get:

\implies (3x - 7)°+ 55° + (x + 20)° = 180°

\implies 3x - 7° + 55° + x + 20° = 180°

On further calculation:

\implies 4x + 68°= 180°

\implies 4x = 112°

\implies x = 112/4

\implies x = 28°

By substituting the value of x we get:

\implies ∠AOC = (3x - 7)°

\implies ∠AOC = 3 (28°) - 7°

\implies ∠AOC = 84°- 7°

\implies ∠AOC = 77°

And:

\implies ∠BOD = (x + 20)°

\implies ∠BOD = (28 + 20)°

\implies ∠BOD = 48°

Hence:

The value is x is 28°, ∠AOC is 77° and ∠BOD is 48°.
