p(x) = ax² + bx + c = 0

Let a = 1.

Sum of the zeroes = - b/a

⇒ 1/4 = - b/1

⇒ - b = 1/4

⇒ b = - 1/4

Product of the zeroes = c/a

⇒ -1 = c/1

⇒ c = -1

∴ p(x) = x² - 1/4 x - 1

\huge\boxed{\ \ \ \ \ \huge\boxed{\ \ \ \ \ \huge\boxed{p(x)=x^2-\frac{1}{4}x-1}\ \ \ \ \ }\ \ \ \ \ }

Thank you. :-))

shadowsabers03: You should ask me if you have any doubt in my answer instead of reporting my answer!!!

Please check what mistake is in my answer. Find the roots of the equation given by me and find their product and sum. Then check whether it is right or wrong.
AS72: your ans is roght
AS72: sorry right
shadowsabers03: Then why you reported it?!
AS72: by mistake
