3x - 4y = 1 (eq1)
6x - 8y = -15 (eq2)

Multiply eq 1 by 6 and eq 2 by 3 we get ,

18x - 16y = 1
18x - 32y = -15
(-) (+) (+)
16y = 16
y = 16\16
y = 1

Put the value of y = 1 in eq 1 we get ,

3x - 4(1) = 1
3x - 4 = 1
3x = 1 + 4
3x = 5
x = 5\3

Hence the value of x and y are :

x = 5\3
y = 1

Hope it will help u
Thank u

ak171: You have to multiply whole eq
