Using quadratic Formula
that is -b+-√(b^2 -4ac)/2a
we get
$4 + - \frac{ \sqrt{16 - 4 \times 2 \times 5} }{10}$
we are going to get a negative discriminant which means that there are no real roots .
In such case you have imaginary roots which means no solution.
