7y=37-3x

Y=(37-3x)/7

By putting value in other equation,

5x+6(37-3x)/7=39

5(7)x+222-18x=39(7)

35x+222-18x=273

17x=51

X=51/17=3

Y=(37-3(3))/7=28/7=4

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

since x=1

3x+7y=37

3(1)+7y =37        replace x with 1

3 +7y=37

7y=37-3        3 goes to rhs and becomes negative

7y=34

y=34/7            7 goes to rhs and is divided as in lhs it was multiplied with y

so, answer is 34/7

next answer

since x=2

5x+6y=39

5(2)+6y=39               replace x with 2

10+6y=39

6y=39-10                    10 goes to rhs from lhs and is subtracted

6y=29

y=29/6                          6 goes to rhs and is divided as it was multiplied in lhs

so, answer is 29/6

                            thanks. liked to help
