Answer:

10x + 15y = 105 ------ 1

-x + 2y = 0 ------ 2

Multiplying the 2nd equation with 10

10( -x + 2y ) = 0

-10x + 20y = 0

On adding 2 from 1

10x + 15y = 105

-10x + 20y = 0

--------------------

0x + 35y = 105

--------------------

35y = 105

y = 105/35

y = 3

On substituting y ( 3 ) in 2

-x + 6 = 0

x = 6

Answer:

2y − x = 0 ⇒x=2y .....(I)

10x + 15y = 105 .....(II)

Taking out 5 common from (II)

2x+3y=21 .....(III)

From (I) and (III)

2(2y)+3y=21

⇒4y+3y=21

⇒7y=21

⇒y=3

x=2×3

=6
