Step-by-step explanation:

Given R = {(a,b) : a,b ∈ A, a ≤ b²}

(i)

Take a = 2, b = 2:

then 2 ≤ 2²

= 2 ≤ 4

(2,2) ∈ R

∴ R is reflexive.

(ii)

Take a = (1/2), b = (1/2)

Then (1/2) ≤ (1/2)² is not true.

(1/2,1/2) ∉ R

R is not reflexive.

(iii)

Take a = 27, b = 36

Then 27 ≤ 6² which is true for symmetric also.

(27,6) ∈ R

(iv)

Take a = 6, b = 3

Then 6 ≤ 3² which is true for reflexive and symmetric.

(6,3) ∈ R

Hope it helps!
