First interchange the places

17-3x/5-4x+2/3=5-6x+7x+14/3

3(17-3x)-5(4x+2)/15=3(5-6x)+7x+14/3

51-9x-20x-10/15=15-18x+7x+14/3

41-29x=15(29-11x)/3

41-29x=5(29-11x)

41-29x=145-55x

55x-29x=145-41

26x=104

X=104/26

X=4
