To find --> Roots of determinant equation

Solution --->

(1) plzzz see the attachment

(2) In first step we add the all three rows of determinant

(3) In second step we get (x +9 ) as elements of first row

(4) In third step we take ( x + 9 ) outside from determinant as common from first row and now all the elements of first becomes 1 .

(5) Now subtracting third column from first column and from second column respectively

(6)Now in fifth step taking out (x - 7 ) as common from first column

(7)Now expanding from first column we get

( x + 9 ) ( x - 7 ) ( x - 2 ) = 0

If x + 9 = 0

x = - 9

If x - 7 = 0

x = 7

If x - 2 = 0

x = 2

So solution of given determinant are

x = -9 , 7 , 2
