18. Let the lowest score be x
Highest score=2x+6(given)
Highest score=96(given)
lowest score⇒2x+6=96⇔2x=90-6
2x=90
⇔x=90/2
x=45
∴lowest marks=45 marks.
19. Let sheela age be x
Then her mother's age is (x+4)×2
And her brother age is x+2/3
Now we know the sheela age is 13
So her mother's age is (13+4)×2=17×2=34
