\boxed{\mathrm{Solution-}}

\mathrm{5x - 3y - 2 = 0}

\mathrm{4x + 7y + 3 = 0}

By cross multiplying, we have,

\mathrm{ \frac{x}{( - 3  \:   \times   \: 3) - (7 \times  - 2)} =  \frac{y}{( - 2 \:   \times   \: 4)  -  (3 \times 5)}  =  \frac{1}{(5 \times 7) - (4 \times  - 3)}  }

\mathrm{\implies \frac{x}{ - 23}  =  \frac{y}{ - 23}  =  \frac{1}{23} }

\mathrm{\implies \: x = \frac{ - 23}{23}   =  - 1}

\mathrm{\implies y = \frac{ - 23}{23}  =  - 1}

\mathrm{\therefore x= -1  \: and  \: y = -1}
