therefore,,examinees that can't enable to pass out the exam= 100% - 72%

= 28%

Now, by the formula to find out the percentage of non- passing examinees,, we get::

392/x × 100 = 28%

here,,x= total no. of examinees

so,, 39200/x=28

39200 = 28x

x= 39200/28

x= 1400..

so,,the total no. of examinees are 1400.
