Answer:

let theta be x

x + iy = 3/(2+cosx + isinx)

by rationalisation :-

= 3(2+cosx -isinx)/ [(2+cosx)² - (isinx)²]

= 3(2+cosx -isinx)/[4 + cos²x + 4cosx +sin²x]

=[ 3(2+cosx)- i(3sinx)]/ (4+4cosx)

Now sperating x and y value , we get

x = 3(2+cosx)/4(1+cosx)

and y = 3sinx/4(1+cosx)

so, now do their square u will get the answer.
