let x be no of winners

let y be no of non winners

eqn1. 100x + 25y=3000

eqn2 x+y=63

=>25x+25y=1575 ( multiplied by 25 on both sides?

eqn 1 - eqn2,

75x=1425

X=19

y= 63-19=44

winners =x=19
