Answer

1 . Force , F = 2 N

2 . Acceleration , a = 1 m/s²

Given

  • Acceleration , a = 2 m/s²
  • Mass , m = 1 kg

To Find

1 . Magnitude of Force

2 . Acceleration produced by the same force when mass is 2 kg

Concept Used

  • Newton's Second Law

\sf{\orange{\bigstar \;\; F=ma}}

Solution

1 .

Apply Formula .

F = ma

⇒ F = 1 × 2

F = 2 N

2 .

Acceleration produced by the same force when mass is 2 kg

Force , F = 2 N

Mass , m = 2 kg

Acceleration , a = ? m/s²

Apply formula .

F = ma

⇒ 2 = 2 × a

⇒ a = 2/2

a = 1 m/s²

So , Acceleration , a = 1 m/s²

More Info

  • SI unit of Force is Newton
  • SI unit of mass is kg
  • SI unit of Acceleration is m/s²
