Its supplement is 180−x

Its complement is 90−x

So, 180−x=4×(90−x)

Or 180−x=360−4x

⟹ x= 18/3=60°

2nd I) speed = 72km/hr=20m/sec

time = 140/20=7sec

ii) Train speed = 72 km/hour

1 Km/hr = 1000/ 3600= 10/36 =5/18 metre/ second

Train speed= 72 × (5/18) m/sec

Train speed = 20 m/sec

Total distance to be covered = train length + bridge length

= 140 m + 220 m

= 360 meters

Time taken = Distance covered / Speed

Time taken by train = 360 m / 20 m/sec

Time takenby train = 18 sec
