AD bisects ∠DAC.

In ∆ABC,

∠1 = ∠2 ...(i) ; [ angles opposite to equal sides of triangle. ]

And, AE || BC . So,

∠1 = ∠3 ....(ii) ; [ corresponding angles. ]

∠2 = ∠4 ....(iii) ; [ alternate angles. ]

From (i) , (ii) and (iii)

∠3 = ∠4

And hence,

AE is the bisector of ∠DAC proved.
