to find the mean

make use of midpoints:

100-120 .... midpoint = 110

120-140....  midpoint = 130

140-160 ... midpoint = 150

160-180 .. midpoint = 170

180-200 ... midpoint = 190

now use the midpoints * num of workers... then divide by the total after adding  all of them

(110*12 + 130*14 + 150*8  + 170 * 6 + 190*10) / (12+14+8+6+10)

=145.2

mean is 145.2

To get mode :

you need to draw a cumulative graph .. else

find out which number of workers is the most for that daily in come.. hence 14 is the largest um of workers with an income of between 120-140

once you draw the graph you will notice that the curve shows 122.1

mode = 122.1

median

the total number of workers = 50

now divide by 2

50/2 = 25

now find where the 25th worker is for the daily income. it belongs under the 120-140 region

when drawing the curve you will see that it is 137.5

median = 137.5
