Let the common ratio be x.

Given that the Dimensions of the cuboid are in the ratio 1:2:3.

So, Let the dimensions be 1x,2x,3x.

Given that T.S.A of the cuboid = 88cm^2.

We know that TSA of the cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)

88 = 2(x * 2x + 2x * 3x + 3x * x)

88 = 2(2x^2 + 6x^2 + 3x^2)

88 = 4x^2 + 12x^2 + 6x^2

88 = 22x^2

x^2 = 88/22

x^2 = 4

x = 2cm.

Hence, The dimensions of a cuboid are:

x = 2cm.

2x = 2 * 2 = 4cm.

3x = 3 * 2 = 6cm.

Hope this helps!

Hey mate..
========

Given,

The dimensions of the cuboid are in the ratio 1:2:3

Now,

Let , the length of the cuboid, L be 1.x cm i.e. x cm

Breadth of the cuboid, B be 2x cm

Height of the cuboid, H be 3x cm

We have,

Total surface area of the cuboid = 88 cm^2..(1)

Formula of cuboid:-
===============

Total surface area of the cuboid = 2 ( LB+BH+HL)

From (1), we have,

=> 88 = 2 ( LB + BH + HL )

=> 44 = (x.2x) + (2x.3x) + ( 3x.x)

=> 44 = 2x^2 + 6x^2 + 3x^2

=> 44 = 11 x^2

=> 44 / 11 = x^2

=> 4 = x^2

=>  \sqrt{4} = x

Therefore,

x = 2

Now,

Required length of the cuboid

= (1 × 2) cm = 2cm

Required Breadth of the cuboid

= (2 × 2) cm = 4 cm

Required Height of the cuboid

= (3 × 2) cm = 6cm

So,

Dimensions of the cuboid are :-- ( 2 × 4 × 6 ) cm

Hope it helps !!
