(1) There won't be any effect on its total volume.

Volume of sphere= 4/3 pi r^3

& volume of each hemisphere = 2/3 pi r^3

& 2 hemispheres’ volume together

= 2*(2/3 pi r^3) = 4/3 pi r^3

(2) There won't be any effect on its curved surface area too..

CSA of Sphere = 4 pi r²

CSA of each hemisphere = 2 pi r²

=> CSA of 2 hemispheres = 2 * 2pi r² = 4 pi r²

(3) But total surface area will definitely be affected…

TSA of a sphere = 4 pi r²

TSA of each hemisphere

=area ( Curved surface + Base surface )

= 2 pi r² + pi r²

= 3 pi r²

So, 2 hemisphere together will have 6 pi r² as its total area.
