b) 3 men

proportion for (a):-let x be the no of hours taken by 1 man
=> 5:15::1:x
=> 5x=15
=> x=3hours. . ...............answer
(b)let x be the no of hours taken by 3men
=> 5:15::3:x
=> 5x=15×3
=> x=9 hours. .... ........... .........answer
