here 2 by 3 multiply x is equals to x minus 20 so show 2 by 3 of X - X = -20 And after doing the calculation we got X equals to 60

Let original number be  x
By given conditions:
 \frac{2}{3}x=x-20 \\ \implies 2x=3x-60 \\ \implies \boxed{x=60}
