From the drawn figure, we can see

=> Altitude more higher than the shorter pole

= 30 - 15 = 15 m

=> Base = 36 feet
______________________
Note :
=-=-=-=-
=> 1 foot = 0.3048 m

=> 36 feet = 0.3048×36 = 10.9728 m

So.. Using Pythagoras theorem,

We can find out the distance
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
between 2 tops.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

So..

 =  > x =  \blue{ \sqrt{ {15}^{2}  +  {(10.9728)}^{2} } } \\  \\  =  > x = \blue{ \sqrt{345.4} } =  \underline{ \green{18.585 \: m}}
____________________________
So the distance between the two tops is 18.585 m

Hope this is ur required answer
