=====================
We know,

=> Ideal gas law says :: PV = n RT

where

P = pressure

V= Volume

n = number of moles

R = Gas constant

T= Temperature.

___________________________
Now..

 = > PV = nRT \\ \\ = > P_{1} V = n_{1}RT \\ \\ = > \bf \: partial \: \: pressure(P_{1} ) \: \: is \: \: directly \: \: proportional \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \bf \: \: to \: \: mole \: \: fraction (n_{1})\: \: of \: \: that \: \: gas

Now..

=> Ratio of partial fraction of Hydrogen and SO2 here = Ratio of their respective moles.

So,..

 \underline{ \bf \: calculating \: \: moles \: \: of \: \: hydrogen}

=> given mass = 2 g

=> molar mass = 2 g

=> Total moles =  \frac{given \: \: mass}{molar \: \: mass} = \frac{2}{2} = \underline{ \bf \green{1 \: mol}}

<br /><br />\bf\underline{calculating \: \: moles \: \: of \: \: sulphur \: \: dioxide}

=> given mass = 32 g

=> molar mass = 64 g

=> Total moles = \frac{given \: \: mass}{total \: \: mass } = \frac{32}{64} = \underline{ \bf \green{0.5 \: \: mol}}

___________________________
So molar ratio of H2 to SO2 = 1 :0.5 = 2:1

So...

Ratio of pressure by H2 to SO2 = 2:1

=> Partial pressure of H2

 = \boxed{\bf\underline{ \orange{ \frac{2} {3} \: \: of \: \: the \: \: total \: \: pressure }}}

Answer:

Option c.

Explanation:

Ideal gas law says :: PV = n RT

where

P = pressure

V= Volume

n = number of moles

R = Gas constant

T= Temperature.

Now..

Now..

=> molar mass = 64 g

=> Total moles =

So molar ratio of H2 to SO2 = 1 :0.5 = 2:1

Ratio of pressure by H2 to SO2 = 2:1

=> Partial pressure of H2
